Uncover The Best Tendonitis Treatments That So Many Ex-Tendonitis Pain Sufferers Use To Quickly And Easily End Their Tendonitis Pain...

YOU Need To Find Out The Cause Of Your Tendinitis First So You Can Attack It In The Most Efficient Possible Way!

Causes Of Tendonitis

What is the most common cause?

The most common causes of tendonitis include the following:

  • Misuse/Overuse
  • Old Age

Whether at work or play, an overused tendon is not immune to developing pain and inflammation and therefore tendonitis. Beware of any repetitive movement or common motion that could put a strain on tendon fibers and quite possibly lead to symptoms of tendinitis and even injury.

In the event of experiencing tendonitis pain and inflammation or witnessing red, swollen areas around the elbow, for instance, cease what you are doing and treat the area around the tendon with ice and rest.

Each of us ages at one time or another. With age comes experience, but also arthritis and even tendonitis. As our muscle and tendon fibers age right along with us, they may become more prone to suffering from inflammation. It is especially important in old age to avoid any repetitive activity that could cause tendonitis and make one susceptible to injury that may require surgery and/or a longer recovery.

What are some other common causes of tendonitis?

  • Excessive strain on each tendon

Many bodybuilders who have done steroids know all too well about excessive strain on their tendons and the tendonitis that could result. Steroids may create bulging biceps but they do little for growing tendon fibers. If a bodybuilder isn't careful, lifting too much weight could even snap or separate a tendon from a bone. Every athlete should always warm up first before engaging in any weight bearing activity. Tendonitis prevention is key.

  • Due to injury

Tendonitis may result due to a tendon or joint injury. One example might be how tennis elbow develops after having elbow surgery or wrist tendonitis develops after having surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. In these scenarios, tendonitis may have been avoided with proper rest and treatment following the surgery.

  • Due to a preexisting condition

Another possible tendonitis cause, not so common, could be an immune disorder such as rheumatoid arthritis that may leave tendons prone to pain and inflammation. If damaged tissue from a tendon has a difficult time healing itself, then pain and inflammation may grow in severity causing flare ups and eventually tendonitis pain.
